Though this is a site for me seeing stuff, presumably shows or movies you would be correct in the ladder but the former not so much. But hear my out as it is for good reason. Near every show on television right now is absolute shit. Now I’m not saying all obviously. There certainly are good shows(even GREAT shows) but that does not mean that they are good, just a way to feed a sin and make a buck. Reality TV truly is the anti-TV.
Basically, I am tired of watching commercials. I will wait forever to watch a show online to minimize commercials(hopefully Netflix gets too big to fail). Now, nearly a third of my(and your) watching is for commercials about shit I don’t want, don’t need, or just plain should be ashamed to possess. Who needs a car that expensive? Who needs a toothbrush that can do that? Who cares what my kid is doing out that late? Ok, so the last one is good to concern yourself with but to pester each consumer to the point of surrealism is unbelievable. Our lives have become nothing more than commercials themselves. What logo is on your shirt? Where did you eat out today? What kind of car? And don’t act like you don’t know. All we do is watch TV and soak in fake reality because we are either too lazy to get out and do it ourselves, or lack the initiative to even think that far ahead. Basically we have become drones and slaves to this stupid box. I believe movies differ of course, and again, this is not ALL TV shows, but the majority…you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for putting content like yours on the air. I’m talking to all you trashy reality makers, most notably on Bravo and E. You guys SUCK!
I will slowly show my reviews for TV shows but I certainly do not feel they have credit as anything more than a digital tabloid. The shows I watch and will review will have sustenance and value and will not down play the world just to make some money. Your makers will certainly have their work cut out for them with you.
